Just saw 'Journey to the Center of the Earth' yesterday at Gateway Mall. It was real fun and I just had to rethink my blog not to limit it to Pinoy Male Celebrities only. Sorry guys, I really think that one of my favorite male actors should get an entry here. Brendan Fraser (as Trevor Anderson).

I really noticed Brendan when he played the lead role in 'Encino Man' (1992) but he became my favorite after 'George of the Jungle' (1997), a role which fully utilized his charm and beefy good looks, as well as offering him a chance to show off his comic talents. He described this role as the one which dramatically altered his career.

He had an interesting role in 'Gods and Monsters' (1998) as Clayton Boone where he was the object of affection of an old male character James Whale played by Ian McKellen (is this considered as a gay film?).

He was chosen by 'People Magazine' as one of the 50 most beautiful people in the world in 1998.

He has dual citizenship: American and Canadian. And he speaks French fluently.

He is slated to reprise his role as Rick O'Connell on the latest sequel of the Mummy series. And he will play Gung Ho in 'G.I.Joe: Rise of the Cobra'

Check out how much he was paid for the following movies:
The Mummy Returns (2001) $12,500,000
Bedazzled (2000) $10,000,000
Dudley Do-Right (1999) $4,000,000
The Mummy (1999) $4,000,000
